The process of converting raw materials into a finished product using labor and machinery in a manufacturing organization is called a multi-step production process and all manufacturing organizations produce their products using a variety of Manufacturing process.
The company I have chosen for preparing this report is Vogue Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. This company is mainly a company that manufactures chemicals and chemical compound related products and this main task is to produce chemical compounds needed to clean polluted water coming out of companies or other production establishments.
The manufacturing process for water treatment chemicals typically varies depending on the specific type of chemical being produced (e.g., coagulants, flocculants, disinfectants) and the intended application (e.g., drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial processes). However, here is a generalized outline of the manufacturing process for water treatment chemicals
Row Material Handling and Storage
Here, this Vogue Holdings company has a head office located in Alawwa and the grant manufacturing plant is located in Ilukmadittawatta area of Alawwa.Unicon supplies the bentonite and lime chemicals required for the production of bentolime to the main production plant and transports them and stores them in this main production plant.
The main products here are bentolime, super bentolime and sodium bentolime products. Various chemicals are used for this purpose and let's examine how the related production process takes place.
Batch Preparation or Continuous Mixing
After that, the bentonite and lime obtained by the company are sent to a manufacturing site in Matale and the materials are mixed at the required ratio in the Vogue Holdings manufacturing plant at that location.
In the production plant located in Matale, based on the required chemical composition, pH value, necessary controls such as heating, cooling, etc. are carried out to obtain the final product, Bentolime.
Here, there are several separate doctors to check the quality of the product and the samples of these products produced by the factory are sent to the testing laboratory located in Kuliapitiya area for testing and implementing the quality control measures.
